I have just won a VES Award for my work as a VFX Supervisor on Game of Thrones.

Albert Nobbs Trailer Released

New York Destruction Demo
Our task was to create an establishing shot of New York being destroyed. We had the test of doing this within 14 days with 2 artists. It was a 2D Digital Matte Painting approach rather than 3D buildings, with the addition of 3D Fume FX. Game of Thrones VFX gets Emmy nomination
As one of the VFX Supervisors on Season 1 of HBO’s Game of Thrones, my team of 19 talented people worked on over 350 of the 686 VFX shots which has been recognized by the Emmy board with a nomination.
This is a fantastic achievement and I wish to thank the SSVFX team for all their hard work that has contributed to the shows success.
