Albert Nobbs Trailer Released
Albert Nobbs, a Rodrigo García film staring Glenn Close, Mia Wasikowska, Brendan Gleeson and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Here is the first trailer released.
Thoroughly enjoyed working closely with Rodrigo, Glenn, Bonnie, Dee and everybody on this wonderful project.

New York Destruction Demo
Our task was to create an establishing shot of New York being destroyed. We had the test of doing this within 14 days with 2 artists. It was a 2D Digital Matte Painting approach rather than 3D buildings, with the addition of 3D Fume FX.
I got my hands dirty again and took on the DMP, Animation and Compositing whilst Fume FX specialist Hristo Velev created the dust and debris. We would love to be able to take this shot further given more time. However we’re extremely happy with it’s outcome.

63rd ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS
Boardwalk Empire may have pipped us to the Emmy, but to be part of the team involved in an Emmy nomination was a great achievement.
Again big congratulations to Adam McInnes, Lead VFX Supervisor and his VFX team, Peter Hartless, Keith Mason, Niall McEvoy and Colin McCusker.

Game of Thrones VFX gets Emmy nomination
As one of the VFX Supervisors on Season 1 of HBO’s Game of Thrones, my team of 19 talented people worked on over 350 of the 686 VFX shots which has been recognized by the Emmy board with a nomination.
This is a fantastic achievement and I wish to thank the SSVFX team for all their hard work that has contributed to the shows success.
A big congratulations to Adam McInnes, Lead VFX Supervisor and his VFX team, Peter Hartless, Keith Mason, Niall McEvoy and Colin McCusker.
Albert Nobbs VFX complete
Supervised on the upcoming film starring Glenn Close and directed by Rodrigo Garcia. An Englishwoman (Close) disguises herself as a man and works as a butler in a hotel in order to survive in male-dominated 19th-century Ireland. She is the illegitimate child of a maid.
Over 60 VFX shots completed by 5 Compositors, 2 3d artists and a matchmover.

Provided on set guidance and shoot supervision to support VFX Supervisor Adam McInnes when running multiple units.
In-house VFX Supervisor in Screen Scene managing a VFX team comprised of NukeX Compositors, 3D Artists, Match-Movers and a Rotoscoping team working on over 350 shots.
